How can we help?

Open the shield and use the emergency unlock. It costs whatever you chose under Settings → Emergency unlock → Default cost (for example a countdown before access returns). You can also wait: batteries recharge while you are away from their apps.

Check that Screen Time permission is still granted (iOS Settings → Screen Time → Apps with Screen Time Access → Recharge), that the battery has apps chosen under Choose apps, and that Low Power Mode or a Focus isn’t delaying background work. If you reinstalled or changed devices, re-choose the apps: iOS only lets a selection be re-applied on the device that made it.

Live Activities need to be on in iOS Settings → Recharge (and Face ID & Passcode → Live Activities if you want them on the Lock Screen). Notifications must be allowed for the Start alert. iOS also limits how many Live Activities an app may start in a short window.

iOS reports usage to apps in batches and sometimes late. Recharge bills the measured time between reports, so levels can lag a little and catch up. It is a budget, not a stopwatch.

Your batteries, schedules and history sync when you are signed in with the same Apple ID. The list of apps in each battery does not: iOS makes that selection private to the device, so choose the apps once on each device.

Go to Settings → Restore purchases. Make sure you are signed in to the same Apple ID that bought it.

Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not by us. On your iPhone open Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Recharge and tap Cancel. Deleting the app does not cancel it.

Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com and choose the Recharge purchase.

In the app: Settings → Account & sync → Delete my account. This removes your synced batteries, history and settings and cannot be undone. Can’t open the app? Email us from your Apple ID address and we’ll do it for you.
