Recharge is made by Solvr Labs, LLC (“Solvr Labs”, “we”, “us”). This policy explains what the app collects, what it does not, and what you can do about it. It is written against what the app actually does.
The short version
- Recharge cannot tell which apps you chose to limit. iOS never gives the app their names — only a sealed token that we are unable to open.
- We collect the minimum needed to sync your batteries between your devices and to send the notifications you asked for.
- We do not track you. No advertising, no analytics SDKs, no data brokers, and we do not sell or share your data.
- You can delete your account, and everything attached to it, from inside the app.
What we collect
Your account
If you sign in with Apple, we store the account identifier Apple gives us, plus the name and email address you choose to share. We use them to identify your account, show which account you are signed in to, and let you get back in after a reinstall. We never receive your Apple ID password. If you use Apple’s Hide My Email, we only ever see the private relay address, never your real one. Signing in is optional; it is only needed to sync between devices and to restore your setup after a reinstall.
Your batteries
The names, emoji, colours, limits, schedules and warning preferences you set. This is what makes your setup appear on your other devices and survive a reinstall.
Your sessions
When a drain session starts and ends. This produces your history, streaks and goal progress. It is a record of when you used a battery, not of what you did.
Push tokens
Identifiers Apple gives us so we can deliver notifications and Live Activities to your device.
Accountability partner
If you choose to connect with a partner, we store the link between your two accounts so we can notify them as you asked.
Your app selection, as a sealed token
When you choose which apps a battery covers, iOS does not tell Recharge what you picked. It hands the app a sealed token instead. We store that token, along with a count of how many apps and categories you selected, so your setup can be restored. We cannot open that token, and neither can anyone else. Only Apple’s system can, and only on the device that created it. So we know how many apps a battery covers, but not which.
Diagnostics from Apple
Recharge does not include any crash-reporting or analytics software of its own. If you have chosen to share iPhone analytics with app developers in iOS Settings, Apple may give us anonymous, aggregated crash and performance reports through App Store Connect. That data comes from Apple, is not tied to your account, and we cannot identify you from it.
What we do not collect
- The names of the apps you limit
- The contents of any app you use, or anything you type, see or do inside them
- Your Screen Time reports or per-app usage totals
- Third-party analytics, crash-reporting or advertising data
- Your location, contacts, photos, calendar, health data or files
- Any advertising identifier
Recharge does not show the App Tracking Transparency prompt because it does not track you.
How your data is used
Only to run the features you can see: syncing your setup across devices, restoring it after a reinstall, showing your history and progress (your own streaks, goals and yearly Wrap), delivering the notifications and Live Activities you enabled, and notifying an accountability partner if you set one up. We do not use your data to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell it or share it with third parties for their own purposes.
Where your data is stored
On infrastructure provided by Supabase, hosted in the United States, and by Apple for push notification delivery. Both act as processors on our behalf. Data is encrypted in transit, and access is restricted so that your rows can only be read by your own account.
Purchases are handled entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details.
How long we keep it
Your data is kept while your account exists. When you delete your account, the data attached to it is deleted.
Deleting your account
In Recharge, open Settings → Account & sync → Delete my account. This removes your account and the data attached to it — your synced batteries, your session history and your settings. It cannot be undone. The app keeps working afterwards as a fresh install with nothing synced. If you cannot get into the app, email jessy@solvrlabs.com from the address you use with Apple and we will help.
Children
Recharge is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal data under local law, including access, correction and deletion. Deleting your account is available in the app at any time. For anything else, contact us at jessy@solvrlabs.com.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we will update the date at the top and, where the change is significant, tell you in the app.
